Loveblob is a private space for two people. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Loveblob to keep your relationship yours — we do not sell your data, and we do not show you ads.
Account information: your email address (and display name if you provide one), created when you sign up. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
Relationship content: messages, daily-question answers, dares, challenges, and the photos, videos, and notes you save to Memories. This content is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it is stored, so it is unreadable to us and to anyone other than you and your partner.
Technical data: a device push-notification token (so we can alert you to a new message or prompt), and basic diagnostic information such as crashes and errors that help us keep the app working. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not use your relationship content to train AI models. AI rewrites operate on the message you are composing, at your request, and are not retained for model training.
Messages and media are encrypted on your device using keys that never leave your devices in readable form. Even though your encrypted content is stored on our servers (Google Firebase, hosted in the Asia–South region), neither Loveblob nor Google can decrypt it. If you lose your device and your recovery code, that content cannot be recovered — that is the trade-off of true privacy.
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) as our infrastructure provider, and Expo for push-notification delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your authentication record and your couple room content from our systems. Some records may be retained briefly where required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can export your data and delete your account from within the app, or contact us using the details below.
Loveblob is intended for adults in a relationship and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
