Welcome to Loveblob. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. They are meant to be clear, not tricky.

Who can use Loveblob

You must be 18 or older. Loveblob is designed for two people in a relationship, and most of it does nothing useful until you pair with your partner.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and recovery key safe. If you sign up with an email address, you will need to confirm it before you can use the app.

Your recovery key matters more here than in most apps. Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot reset it, recover it, or read your data for you. If you lose your key, your options are the copy in your password manager or your partner’s device — both described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use Loveblob for your own relationship. Do not use it to harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone, do not upload content you have no right to share, and do not attempt to break, probe or overload the service.

Because your content is encrypted, we cannot monitor it. We rely on you to use the app lawfully, and we can suspend accounts we have credible reason to believe are being used to harm someone.

Your content

Your content is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store it in encrypted form solely to deliver it between you and your partner.

Content you create with your partner belongs to both of you. If you delete your account, your shared conversation remains available to them, and theirs remains available to you — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what happens.

AI features

Loveblob can suggest rewrites of messages you are drafting. When you request one, that draft and recent context are sent to our server and an AI provider — the one case where your content leaves the encrypted envelope. Suggestions are generated automatically, may be wrong or awkward, and are yours to accept, edit or ignore. You are responsible for what you actually send.

Subscriptions

Loveblob is currently free, and there is nothing to pay for. If we introduce paid features later, we will set out the price and terms before you are asked to buy anything, and any purchase would be handled by the App Store or Google Play under their billing terms.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Loveblob running, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and — because we cannot decrypt your content — we cannot be responsible for content lost when a recovery key is lost. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these Terms or is used to harm someone.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We will revise the date above and tell you in the app about anything material.
